New Zealand eTA Application Information

In July 2019,the NZeTA, or the New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority, an electronic visa waiver, was launched.

It enables those who qualify to visit NZ for leisure/ business/transit without having to deal with the trouble of applying for a visa at an embassy.

The eTA NZ is currently a required for all visa-waiver nationalities, international cruise ship passengers of all nationalities, Australian permanent residents, and transit travelers in order to enter New Zealand.

NZeTA is sent within 1 to 2 days of your application.

For two years, the NZ eTA is valid permits multiple entries for quick trips there.

From the date of acceptance, the eTA New Zealand for airline and cruise staff is valid for 5 years.

How to finish the online NZ eTA application

Within 48 hours of submitting your NZeTA online application, you will receive an email confirming your travel authorization.
