All those Indian citizens who wish to visit Cambodia for purposes like visiting the ancient Khmer remnants, attending business meetings with Cambodian businesses, or traveling through Cambodia to another country will be required to present the appropriate Cambodian e-visa to the Cambodian immigration officials.
The Cambodian government has made the Cambodian visa online services accessible to any Indian citizen who is in possession of a passport of India which will remain active for more than 6 months after the Indian citizens arrive inside Cambodia.

Cambodian E-visa Types Available to Indian Citizens

Needed Documents and Their Requirements

Make the Right Choice Regarding Cambodian Visa Type
It is important that Indian citizens remember that one type of Cambodian visa is only meant to allow certain types of activities during their stay in Cambodia. Cambodian authorities are authorized to punish any Indian citizens caught engaging in any activities not allowed under their Cambodian visa even if the said activities are legal under Cambodian law.
Start Filling Out the Cambodian Visa Application Form
The Cambodian visa application form can be filled out by Indian citizens in a variety of ways. The only recommended methods of proceeding with the application process for Cambodian citizens are either visiting the official portal of the Cambodian Government for visa application or the website of a trusted e-visa service provider.
Once the Indian citizens obtain the correct Cambodian visa application form, they will be required to fill in the following details:
- The name of the Indian citizen.
- Active period of the India passport including both date of issue and expiry.
- Information on the plan for the trip including booked accommodations.
- Details specific to the chosen payment method.
- Email address owned by the Indian citizen.
Pay the Submission Fees
The payment modes accepted by the Cambodian government will be presented to the Indian citizens once they have filled all the details asked by the application form. Indian citizens can only make the payment for Cambodian visa applications from the presented modes unless they are completing the process through a trusted visa partner.
Carry As Many Copies as Possible
Indian citizens will be asked to present their approved Cambodian e-visa to the Cambodian immigration officials upon arriving in Cambodia. Indian citizens can present their approved Cambodian e-visa in both physical and digital form which makes making multiple copies of the approved Cambodian visa a smart decision.
Active Period of Cambodian Visas Obtained by Indian Citizens
Cambodian visas obtained by Indian citizens remain active for the next 90 days from the date, the Indian citizen receives the approved Cambodian visa. Within this active period, Indian citizens can make use of this visa to visit Cambodia only once.
When visiting Cambodia, Indian citizens are only allowed to stay in Cambodia for 30 days within which they can partake in any activity allowed under their Cambodian visa category. If for some reason, the Indian citizens are required to extend their stay in Cambodia past the 30-day limit, they will need to approach an Indian embassy in Cambodia and apply for an extension.
Approved extensions shall allow an additional 30-day period of stay for Indian citizens.
