From a lush landscape to a warm escape from chilly European weather, Cambodia has it all for the Andorran traveler. Read on to know how you can make your journey through Cambodia an enjoyable one.

You might think of visiting the historical temple Angkor Wat when you plan to visit Cambodia.  But it would be an injustice to other tourist spots in the country if you only think of the UNESCO-recognised heritage site, and nothing else. The tropical weather of the country experiences heavy rain, heat, and moisture at different times of the year.

Unlike the freezing Andorran weather, in Cambodia, you can experience diverse weather. Besides, the diverse local foods might be a point of interest for you. But before you visit the country, you should know the types of visas available for visitors.

Cambodian Tourist Visa and Eligibility

The e-Visa for Cambodia has made tourism in the country easy. Foreign tourists and other personnel can apply for different Cambodian visas. For tourists, Type-T, for business Type-E, apart from these visa categories, there are Type-K, C, B, and A visas that are also available for different purposes.

As you will be traveling from Andorra as a tourist, you will need to apply for a Type-T or tourist visa.

You just need your passport with six months of validity and one blank page. You will also need your recent passport photograph during the application.

Some countries enjoy visa-free entry to Cambodia, but for an Andorran citizen, a tourist visa is mandatory.

After you apply for a Cambodian visa for Andorrans, you might have to wait for a few days, during which you will receive your visa for Cambodia. However, before you make a trip to the country, apply for an e-arrival card online.

Types of Tourist Visas Available for Andorran Travelers

You should apply for the Cambodian visa based on your purpose of visit to the country. Let’s take a look at what type of visa will be appropriate for you to apply for to visit the country legally.

Visa on Arrival (VoA)

You can fly in directly from Andorra and apply for a visa upon arrival. All you have to do is carry all the documents, like a valid passport and a passport-sized photo. You can submit the visa form after you arrive in the country. Make sure that you meet the criteria to get a visa on arrival.

But we suggest you apply for the visa even before you arrive in the country to avoid a long line at the visa office. Receiving the Cambodian visa beforehand means you will have a seamless entry to the country upon arrival.

e-Visa (Electronic Visa)

Apply for an e-visa to Cambodia before you visit the country. The benefit of an e-visa is that you can apply from the comfort of your room in Andorra. No long queue, and no rush in the warm, humid weather at the Cambodian airport. Just take time out of your busy schedule and apply for a Cambodian visa.

But always remember, not all entry ports in Cambodia accept e-visas when you want to enter the country. But the good news is that the two main airports in the country, Phnom Penh International Airport & Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, accept e-visas to Cambodia.

Can I Extend My Tourist Visa to Cambodia?

Your Cambodian visa can be extended for 30 days if necessary. However, you have to register yourself in the Foreigners Present in Cambodia System (FPCS). You can download the FPSC Cambodia app on your mobile and create an account, upload a copy of your passport, and verify all the information you have provided. Finally, link your phone number with the account and set a password.
