First of all, Saudi Hajj visas can be obtained free and issued from Mid-Shawwal until 25th Dhul-Qadah every year. Hajj visa is only for Mecca, Medina and Jeddah. Applicants cannot obtain a Saudi Hajj visa with the purpose of work or residency. 

Requirements To Obtain The Visa: Documentation and Other Aspects

You will have to gather the following documents before you can apply for your Saudi Hajj visa as a Muslim residing outside Saudi Arabia. 

• A passport with that remains valid for up to six months after your departure. 
• Two recent passport-sized photos
• Completed Saudi Hajj visa application form. 
• A non-refundable round trip ticket. 
• Vaccination proofs for diseases like meningitis 
• Two certified or cashier’s cheques, wherein the amount is made out to the United Agents Office in Jeddah, to facilitate the pilgrimage-related services. 
• Documented proof of legal residence status.
• A Mahram letter (For females who are older than 45 and are travelling without any male company)
• A Shahada certificate (For converted Muslims)
• A copy of the marriage certificate (For a person travelling with a spouse)
• A copy of the birth certificate for Minors (For a child accompanying a parent) 

Notes:

Now, your passport should have at least two blank pages. Apart from that, your passport-sized photograph should have a shot of you looking directly at the camera. Any other type of photo will not be accepted. 

The Saudi Hajj visa application form must be filled in by a pen with black ink. After that, the travel operator should sign and stamp the same. 

Additionally, women above 45 years who are traveling without male company are required to undertake the Hajj with a Mahram. 

The letter should be notarized and contain the signatures of: 

• The woman traveling
• A close male relative
• Two witnesses. 

The women must also submit the following along with the application form to ensure a hassle-free application process:

• Proof of kinship 
• Notarized Letter of no objection from her husband, son or brother

People traveling with children up to fifteen years of age should also submit vaccination reports detailing immunity against polio and meningitis. If your child or children is or are over fifteen, they can submit vaccination documents on their parents’ or guardians’ behalf. 

The checks or cashier’s checks that you will pay to the United Agents Office should include the following details: 

• Name
• Passport number of the pilgrim
• Date and place of issue
• Applicants must pay the exact fee amount. 

Pilgrims can submit one check combining both fees. Children between the ages of seven to fifteen should only pay half the amount, and for the children below the age of seven, it is completely free of cost.
